Frequently asked questions about pentest training
What is a pentest training course?→
A pentest training — also called an ethical hacking course or penetration testing training — teaches, hands-on, how attackers compromise systems, web applications, networks or Active Directory. At Exploit Labs, participants work in live labs, not slides: OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, OSED and our internal bootcamp track each cover a different slice of the attacker world.
Which pentest courses do you offer?→
As an official OffSec Channel & Learning Partner we deliver the full OffSec portfolio (OSCP/PEN-200, OSEP/PEN-300, OSWE/WEB-300, OSED/EXP-301, OSWP, OSDA) including lab access and exam vouchers. Complemented by our own English- and German-language bootcamps on Active Directory (GOAD) and web application pentesting.
What prior knowledge do I need?→
For OSCP: solid Linux command line, TCP/IP basics, some scripting. For OSEP/OSWE: OSCP-level or equivalent practical experience. For our GOAD bootcamps: basic Active Directory understanding is enough — we build up from there didactically. If unsure, we offer a 20-minute intake call.
What does a pentest course cost?→
OSCP Learn-One (single exam attempt) from about €1,700; Learn Enterprise for teams is quoted individually. Our GOAD bootcamp: €3,500 per participant including lab. For corporate training we build a tailored offer — invoicing, group bookings and German-speaking support are standard.
Can you train my team as a group?→
Yes — corporate training is our core business. Options: OffSec Learn Enterprise (self-study portal for entire departments), private GOAD bootcamps for individual teams, or tailored in-house training on topics like cloud pentesting, ransomware kill chain or OT attacks. On-site at your premises on request.
Do participants get a certificate?→
OffSec courses lead to the well-known OffSec certifications (OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, OSED) — internationally recognised and explicitly named in many DE/EU job postings. GOAD bootcamps conclude with an Exploit Labs completion certificate plus an internal CTF ranking.
